Novasource Nutri Hep

Novasource Nutri Hep

In chronic liver diseases, like liver cirrhosis, protein-energy malnutrition is common. In addition, these conditions are characterized by decreased concentration of Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) in the body. BCAA regulates the protein synthesis & protein degradation and are principally metabolized in peripheral muscles unlike other amino acids.***

The recommended energy intake in these conditions is 35-40 kcal/kg body weight/day & protein intake is 1.2-1.5 g/kg body weight/ day
